Modified is UK based DJ & Producer, Corin Trembath.
A life long music obsessive, he began DJing in 1992. Soon after he formed Obelix alongside Will White (later of The Propellerheads) and Richard George (aka Slack City), releasing music through Leftfield’s Offshoot Records, Steve O’Sullivan’s Mosaic Records and Canadian label Stickman.
In 1997 he struck out on his own, initially under the moniker Modified Starch, but soon shortened to Modified. He has released music on Slalom Records, Kickin’ Records, Milk Records and Tempest Recordings, in addition to featuring on tracks with the likes of De La Soul and The Propellerheads.
Gigging constantly, Corin DJs as a a member of the Crazylegz Collective and has toured worldwide from Norway to New Zealand.
Modified made his debut with Tempest on remix duties on Stickleback's Slipping On Black Ice and followed up with a track on the compilation Between Earth & Sky.
His first single on Tempest, Catalyst sees Modified team up with Flautist, Helen Jenner and enlist the remix talents of Tempest label mates Stickleback, Garagee, Red Eye Express and the Onega Sound System along with European producers Gino Fratelli and Ear Defenders.
